Bitwise launches automated tokenised stock portfolios

Bitwise Asset Management has launched three rules-based model portfolios, giving eligible investors outside the US direct exposure to tokenised stocks through crypto wallets.

Automated Token Portfolios (ATPs) combine Bitwise portfolio design, Coinbase-issued tokenised stocks and automated implementation by onchain platform Glider. Investors retain the tokens in their own wallets, while Glider adjusts their holdings in line with each model without taking custody.

The initial range comprises three portfolios. Bitwise’s Mag7X ATP offers equal-weighted exposure to the Magnificent Seven – Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Tesla – as well as SpaceX, which went public in June 2026.

The equal-weighted Robotics ATP focuses on companies involved in areas including humanoid robots, autonomous vehicles and warehouse automation, with Tesla, Nvidia and Amazon among its holdings. The equal-weighted AI Leaders ATP provides exposure to companies involved in artificial intelligence, including Nvidia, Microsoft, Alphabet, Meta, Amazon, SpaceX, Tesla and Sandisk.

Bitwise positions the ATPs as flexible alternatives to pooled vehicles for accessing developing investment themes.

Unlike an exchange-traded fund (ETF), the component tokens are held directly by users, and Bitwise says new models can be introduced without the same launch process.

Holders may also be able to use the tokens through decentralised finance applications, including for lending or borrowing, although this introduces additional risks and depends on platform availability and local rules.

The ATPs are available only in eligible jurisdictions outside the US and to non-US persons, as defined in Regulation S of the Securities Act of 1933.

They are also published model portfolios rather than personalised investment advice, and create no advisory or fiduciary relationship between Bitwise and users.

Bitwise says it has not independently verified Coinbase’s representations regarding the backing of the tokenised stocks or the rights afforded to holders.

Coinbase issues the tokens under Abu Dhabi Global Market’s regulatory framework, while Glider handles implementation and rebalancing.
