Galaxy expands institutional digital asset offering

Galaxy has launched Galaxy Curator, a new institutional vault curation service designed to help organisations generate yield on stablecoin holdings through curated onchain strategies.

Built on Morpho and distributed through Fireblocks Earn, the offering gives institutional investors access to onchain yield opportunities through existing custody, approval and risk management workflows, without requiring additional DeFi infrastructure.

Galaxy said the service is aimed at addressing the challenge of idle stablecoin balances held by allocators, corporate treasuries and other institutions between deployment cycles and settlement periods.

The platform launches with two vault options. A Quality Vault focuses on capital preservation through allocations backed by blue-chip collateral, while an Enhanced Vault targets higher returns through exposure to assets including liquid restaking tokens and other yield-generating products.

Zane Glauber, Global Head of Distribution at Galaxy, said institutions have been seeking ways to deploy stablecoin capital onchain without having to build operational infrastructure themselves, adding that Galaxy Curator applies the firm’s institutional risk framework to digital asset yield strategies.

The launch expands Galaxy’s institutional digital asset offering and provides access to onchain yield strategies through Fireblocks Earn’s network of more than 2,400 institutional clients.
