J.P. Morgan brings tokenised funds to Solana

Institutional demand for tokenised cash products is accelerating the migration of traditional finance onto blockchain networks.

J.P. Morgan Asset Management has launched two tokenised money market funds on Solana.

It comes as institutional demand grows for tokenised cash management products across multiple blockchain networks.

Paul Przybylski, Global Head of Product, Digital & Tokenized Assets at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, said the move would help clients manage liquidity across the blockchain ecosystems where they operate. “Bringing JLTXX and MONY to Solana gives stablecoin issuers and institutional investors access to the same funds, across the on-chain networks where they operate,” he said.

The asset manager said its My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity-Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX) are now available to qualified US investors through the Solana blockchain, expanding access to its tokenised cash management platform.

Investors can access both funds through Morgan Money, the firm's liquidity management platform, allowing subscriptions and redemptions across multiple blockchain networks while receiving token balances directly to blockchain addresses.

Przybylski said the launch reinforced the firm's strategy of expanding tokenised liquidity offerings through multi-chain distribution. “This launch builds on our position as one of the leaders in tokenised liquidity and underscores our commitment to scaling tokenised cash management through multi-chain channels,” he added.

MONY, launched in December 2025, was introduced as a tokenised money market fund offering US dollar yield opportunities to qualified investors. JLTXX is a registered US government money market fund designed to support stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act.

The launch reflects growing momentum behind the tokenisation of real-world assets, a market that has attracted increasing participation from major banks and asset managers seeking to bring traditional financial products onto blockchain infrastructure.

J.P. Morgan Asset Management oversees .8tn in assets, while parent company JPMorgan Chase reported total assets of .1tn as of 30 September 2026.

The expansion gives the firm exposure to one of the largest blockchain networks used by institutional and digital asset market participants, as competition intensifies among asset managers to build tokenised investment products for professional investors.
