Morgan Stanley Investment Management has expanded its digital asset offering with the launch of two new exchange-traded products providing exposure to Ethereum and Solana.
The new products, Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust, will track the performance of ether and SOL respectively, giving investors regulated access to two of the largest digital assets by market capitalisation.
The launches follow the debut of the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust earlier this year, which the firm says was the first cryptocurrency ETP offered by a US bank-affiliated asset manager.
MSBT has attracted more than $381m in assets under management as of 16 July 2026.
“Digital assets are becoming an increasingly important component of diversified investment portfolios,” said Amy Oldenburg, Head of Digital Asset Strategy at Morgan Stanley.
“As client interest in digital assets continues to grow, we’re focused on providing a range of digital asset solutions that allow investors to diversify their portfolios across traditional and decentralised asset classes.”
The launches expand MSIM’s growing ETF and ETP platform, which now manages more than $14bn across 22 products, including three digital asset ETPs linked to bitcoin, ether and SOL.
