Apex Group has launched a new digital infrastructure, Apex Digital 3.0, aimed at transforming fund distribution and asset servicing using blockchain technology.
The platform is designed to support the institutional adoption of digital assets by offering compliant solutions that ensure regulatory standards are met across jurisdictions.
“Bringing forward investment management products in a format that will enable a new group of investors to have access to them will provide investors with a more diversified portfolio and better risk adjusted returns as well as more retirement security,” said Peter Hughes, founder and CEO of Apex Group.
By leveraging programmable infrastructure, the initiative promises to reshape the asset servicing landscape, offering a solution for the digitalisation of assets throughout the investment lifecycle.
“We aim to enable institutional adoption of digital assets by ensuring that regulatory and compliance requirements are met across the globe and giving confidence to all investors that these new investment products bear a similar risk profile to traditional asset classes when structured institutionally,” said Hughes.
The launch follows Apex Group’s recent acquisition of tokenisation firm Tokeny, bolstering the company’s position in the digital asset ecosystem.
The move is part of a broader strategy to increase access to investment products across traditional and digital markets.
Apex is also expanding its stablecoin services, offering modular solutions for stablecoin issuers including minting, issuance, distribution and ongoing proof of reserves.
With Apex Digital 3.0, the Group is positioning itself as a compliant blockchain based infrastructure, aimed at institutional investors looking to participate in the next phase of financial innovation.
